Special illumination in Brussels for the occasion of National Day

driekleur

Belgium celebrated its national holiday on 21 July. It has already become a tradition to use special lighting in festive occasions such as a national holiday or pride parade, and also to commemorate the victims of tragic events, including terrorist attacks.
Many of the capital’s monuments and buildings were illuminated in the Belgian tricolour: black, yellow and red.
Brussels Town Hall, Central Station and several major fountains and tunnels were lighted up for the occasion. Most of important buildings in Europe and other major cities around the world were highlighted in the Belgian tricolour as well.
