Emergency hotline is launched in Belgium after Barcelona attack


Foreign Affairs of Belgium opened emergency hotline after Thursday’s terror attack in Barcelona.

Federal foreign affairs minister Didier Reynders confirmed that one Dutch-speaking Belgian woman was among the fatal victims of attack.

The Belgian Consulate has contacted the family and the death has been confirmed by the Guardia Civil.

In the wake of the attack, Belgium’s FPS Foreign Affairs has opened an emergency line for concerned Belgians, writes Bruzz.

Thirteen people have been confirmed dead since a van crashed into crowds on Barcelona’s Las Ramblas on Thursday evening.
